"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 Darin & I have been in a season of having to hang on to hope and keep the faith, even when things seemed completely contrary to what we're believing for. We are finally beginning to see breakthrough on many levels, and I know that more is on the way! Things had seemingly gotten worse over the last year, and it felt as if there was no end in sight...BUT breakthrough was just around the corner! There were many times we wanted to give up, many times of crying out to God, and many times of just holding on as the enemy seemed to throw everything he had at us. There's an old saying that says "The darkest hour is just before dawn", and it truly is! In these times, it may feel as if we are being tested beyond what we can take, and the trials become more intense than ever before. However, the word of God actually says that it is our faith, not us, that is on trial...it is our faith that must withstand the test. (1 Peter 1:7, James 1:3) If you have been standing in faith for something, if things have only gotten worse, and you wonder if it will ever happen...remember, the darkest hour is just before dawn!! Don't give up on the brink of your miracle...your faith is being put through the fire, but once it is all over, you will be stronger than ever, and you will come forth as pure gold!!
